Bio

Born in Lubbock County, Texas, Fors developed an early appreciation for diverse cultures and community events. Since 2021, he has proudly called St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands home, where he continues to immerse himself in the vibrant traditions and festivities of the Caribbean. He holds an Associate Degree in Accounting from University of Southern Georgia, a background that supports his work in publishing operations, financial organization, and administrative management.

As U.S. publisher for USVI Carnivals, Fors oversees several key responsibilities related to the organization’s publications. Among his most important duties is managing the official registration of the USVI Carnivals Magazine (Online ISSN: 3067-2880 & Print ISSN: 3067-2910) with the United States Library of Congress, ensuring that each edition is properly documented and preserved within the United States’ national archive system.

Beyond publishing administration, Fors contributes to the creative side of the organization. In his spare time, he is an enthusiastic photographer who enjoys capturing the energy, color, and culture of Caribbean carnival celebrations. His lens often focuses on the people, costumes, parades, and behind-the-scenes moments that make carnival traditions so unique.

Recently, Fors had the opportunity to travel to Trinidad and Tobago, widely celebrated as the Home of Carnival. The experience deepened his appreciation for the rich heritage and global influence of Caribbean carnival culture and further inspired his work with the USVI Carnivals platform.
