Thousands of people who love live entertainment, whether Soca, Reggae or Carimi, enjoyed themselves at the seven (7) day Carnival village located at beautiful Cruz Bay, St. John, United States Virgin Islands. This year's STJ Celebration Village was named Dagou’Ville, after well known cook Gwenda Dagou, originally from Anguilla. She served as a Head Cook in the public school system for 20 years.

Ian Antonio Alvarez better known by his stage name Bunji Garlin, is a Trinidadian ragga soca artist. He is also affectionately known as the Viking of Soca. His spouse is Fay-Ann Lyons is well known by the stage names Lyon Empress, Mane the Matriarch, and the Silver Surfer, a nickname which she claimed during her performance at the 2008 International Soca Monarch.
For years Carimi was a fan favorite. They brought the popular compas music from Haiti to the 21st century. The first album of Kai 'Champion' in 2017 was an immediate success. In 2021 a follow up album 'Jije'M' layed the next brick of their legacy.
Soca star Patrice Roberts performs her 2024 hit song "Anxiety," backed by Trinidad and Tobago's A-Team band at the Carnival Village.
They are one of the region's most diverse brass band, with the capability to perform an array of eclectic music to fit all your event/party needs; from birthdays,weddings, office events, to Carnival concerts.
Born Hollice Johna Mapp on June 4, 1984, in the action-filled town of Gouyave on the small tri-island state of Grenada, this artiste started exercising his vocal cords from the tender age of ten, focusing on Dancehall and Reggae. In 2001, he made the decision to explore Soca.
Celebrated for their instant soca classics (“Wotless,” “Savannah Grass”) and laid-back island pop jams (“Tuesday on the Rocks,” “Hello”), the band has brought Trinidad & Tobago to the world, including the U.S.V.I., sharing stages with the likes of Will Smith, Major Lazer and John Legend.
Hailing from the British Virgin Islands, Pascal The Artist, held down the crowd and the stage at this year's St. John Carnival festivities, with his energetic performance.
Although the Carnival Village was filled with puddles of rainwater, caused by intermittent showers of blessings, it did not stop the crowd of party-goers from fully enjoying themselves.

A young singer from Antigua with the unique ability to infuse popular and R&B singing styles into contemporary Caribbean rhythms to create hits such as "Gimmie A Taste."
Nadia Batson is a Trinidadian singer, songwriter, producer and model. She was a runner-up in the Power Category at the 2007 International Soca Monarch with her song "My Land" with Kes Dieffenthaller.
She spent years behind the scenes as a songwriter, producer and a background vocalist.
A wide assortment of Local and International Deejays keep the STJ Carnival Village bumping through the seven (7) day festivities.
